So I'm a dork, and was curious as to the actual source of the "'Tis better to..." quote I just used. Apparently, there's more to it than I thought:

I hold it true, whate'er befall

I feel it, when I sorrow most;

I never knew the rest of it, but I like it. It's definitely fitting. I approve of it. Now I'll just have to work on remembering it.
